Champions don’t seek recognition.
They don’t even see the game the same way.
Here’s an example:
Players see the score as the point of the game.
Champions see the score of the game as a by-product of how well they are executing.
Players try to score.
Champions try to run the play perfectly knowing the scores will come.
That’s the difference.
Champions go out and give their very best every fucking day … at every opportunity.
And even if they win by 50 points…
They never stop looking for ways to get even better.
The process of sharpening their skills is a never-ending battle for them.
That’s how they keep improving.
That’s how they keep winning.
That’s how they keep dominating.
So if you want to be a champion in your arena…
Stop obsessing over getting recognition from others.
Start obsessing over how well you are executing.
Get better at it…
Get better at it some more…
Every.
Single.
Fucking.
Day.
That’s how you’ll become the person who wins today, tomorrow, and a decade from now.
If you do that…
The recognition will come.
With fire and love,
Erin
